MANAGE MONEY                  Many young people face the dilemma of learning how to manage their money. Due to this, they often find themselves in debt or unable to support themselves. I have learned a few ways to keep myself from falling into traps that may cause me to be in debt or with no money. I have found that if I create a budget, make a list of my necessities, and set financial goals, I am able to avoid financial snares. .              One can create a budget is by allowing oneself a certain amount of money a week to spend. One way of doing this is by setting aside a specific amount of money out of your income for spending and save the rest. Specify the amount of money one will need to spend monthly and try not to go over your specified budget. One also should decide how much money one want to spend on certain things. Try to find the best bargains possible. The majority of the time when one shops around, one is able to find things at a lower price rather than jumping at the fir

BATIK Batik is both an art and a craft, which is becoming ever more popular and well known among contemporary artists all over the world, as a wonderfully creative medium. The art of decorating cloth using wax and dye, has been practiced for centuries in many parts of the world including China, Japan, India, South America and Europe. In Java, an island in Indonesia, batik is part of an ancient tradition, and some of the finest batik cloth in the world is still made there. The word batik originates from the Javanese word “ tik”  which means to dot. Batik is both a verb (to batik) and a noun (a batik – an object made by batiking!). Batik is usually made on a fabric surface (such as cotton, silk, linen, rayon or hemp), but batik techniques can also be used on paper, wood, leather and even a ceramic surface. To make a batik, selected areas of the design are blocked out by applying hot wax over them, a dye is applied on top and the parts covered in wax resist the dye and remain the origina

Travel To Australia  One of the places I have always wanted to travel to was Australia and I have traveled to a lot of countries in my lifetime. I have gone to over fifteen countries excluding the states I have traveled to. Australia seems to have such a great environment to take a vacation to. Sydney, Australia is not the only hot spot in the country. Australia has many unique and interesting places for anyone to visit and have a great experience with all the animals, historical sites, restaurants, forests, deserts, and oceans that they have. Anyone can have a good time there with friends and you can even enjoy it with your family. First stop, Sydney. When you think of Sydney you either think of Finding Nemo or you think of the Sydney Harbor Bridge next to the Opera House. According to Tourism Australia, you can take a kayak ride underneath the Sydney Harbor bridge after passing the beautiful and unique Opera House, and if kayaking is not for you than maybe a ferry ride or a boat ride

5. Sports

Playing Tennis Is playing tennis fun? I think playing tennis is fun. Tennis is one of my favorite types of sports. Since I started playing tennis, I have never gotten hurt, unlike another kind of sports games; I find it too physical and prone to a different kinds of injuries and sometimes fatal. My favorite hobby is tennis. I actually picked up a racket for the first time about six years ago. I started playing tennis because I wanted to spend more social time with women friends. I found that between the demands on my time from work, home, and staying in shape, my female friendships were going by the wayside. I spend about an hour or more a day working out, but I was running and lifting weights, which are really solitary activities, so I took up tennis because it was a way to still get exercise but spend time with female friends. I now play several times a week before or after work on a couple of different teams. It’s a great stress reliever, it’s a great way to stay in shape, and I f

4. Food

I can bake something beautiful  My goal has always been to feed people. It’s a basic, noble way of living a life of service to our fellow human beings and if you do it right, it can be a career. Bakers on a whole I think are concerned with quality and consistency. It’s critical to getting customers to come back. The quality and consistency extends from the food to the service to the appearance of the bakery. Customers like to know what to expect. I think though there is a definite secrecy amongst bakers with regards to recipes, for the most part, everyone is willing to help other bakers out. A baker might not give you her prized brownie recipe but if you asked why your own recipe wasn’t working out, they would happily guide you. The “baker’s dozen” is an interesting concept to touch on. What started as a way to insure against “fraud” has become something of a legit generosity and a marketing technique. Bakers have long been the center of community. Long ago you would bring your loaves

My Trip to Bali, Indonesia Bali is such a magical island with so much to see and do and I wanted to, not only share my experience, but help you plan out your  adventure in Bali by putting together a quick list of my favorite spots!  I had the wonderful honor of traveling with my family. Our first adventure was a half day trip to the  Taman Ayun Temple , about 30 minutes in town. We spent a lot of time in Seminyak, it was one of our favorite spots! I highly suggest staying at  The W Hotel , if you’re looking for a young/fun vibe with gorgeous accommodations and killer views We also took about an hour and a half drive outside of Seminyak to visit the  Temple Tanah Lot  – which I highly recommend as well. Be sure to visit the rice fields and stop for lunch at Bamboo Restaurant (on the way back to Seminyak) for some absolutely delicious, authentic Indonesian food. My most favorite day-trip was our adventure to  Nusa Penida , an island south of the main island of Bali. Be sure to book a t
